Czech travel agency, Adventura's Managing director, made a statement to the Icelandic media apologizing for the bus accident in which the travels agency was involved, earlier last month.He added that the travel agency will handle all costs of the accident and repair damages too.
But all was not repaired by the statement, following the accident; officials demanded that any foreign travel agency coming to Iceland has to have one native tour guide with it. The statements have also been made due to revelations that the travel agency routinely employs reckless drivers.
Adventura is the largest travel agency from the Czech specializing in tours to Iceland; the travel agency had to, allegedly, face xenophobic comments which it says it regretted having prompted.
