Poland tourism is being boosted by an increase in the medical tourism market, as this country has emerged as a favorite medical tourism destination for international travelers. The combination of low cost treatment facilities and a well developed health and tourist infrastructure has has helped this niche travel market to flourish in Poland. The number of medical tourists from the UK, Germany and other countries has spiked in the last few years, as Poland is known for its high quality dental and medical services.

These high growth rates are expected to continue thanks to the huge cost savings available and the shorter waiting times for treatment than in many western European countries. This medical tourism boom is self feeding as it has led to an increased level of investment in promotional activities and private healthcare within the country.

Czech travel agency, Adventura's Managing director, made a statement to the Icelandic media apologizing for the bus accident in which the travels agency was involved, earlier last month.He added that the travel agency will handle all costs of the accident and repair damages too.
But all was not repaired by the statement, following the accident; officials demanded that any foreign travel agency coming to Iceland has to have one native tour guide with it. The statements have also been made due to revelations that the travel agency routinely employs reckless drivers.
Adventura is the largest travel agency from the Czech specializing in tours to Iceland; the travel agency had to, allegedly, face xenophobic comments which it says it regretted having prompted.
