There is a low threat terrorism in Poland travel, but there is always a global risk of terrorist attacks in public areas that are frequented by tourists. Theft is also a risk, especially on rail and bus travel. Driving in Poland can also be hazardous, and researching specific driving routes in advance is highly recommended. Most travelers do not experience any problems on their trips to Poland, but all visitors should be aware that the contact number for emergency services in Poland is 112. It is recommended that travelers take out medical and travel insurance before they begin their trips.
